Scott grew up in a military family and began his own service by enlisting in the U.S. Army at 18. After completing his enlistment, he relocated to Florida, where he joined the National Guard and began a distinguished 25-year career with the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.
Throughout his career, Scott served in various roles including patrol, intelligence, violent crimes, and narcotics. In his final six years, he led a specialized squad of detectives focused on investigating both fatal and nonfatal overdose cases, with a particular emphasis on fentanyl-related deaths.
Scott brings decades of frontline experience, investigative expertise, and leadership to the team.
